Power line disturbances – from DC offset to high-frequency noise – can compromise the performance of even high-end systems. That’s precisely where the new AC-3200 power strip from in-akustik comes in. It has been specifically developed to reliably supply sensitive HiFi components with clean, interference-free power, tailored to different usage scenarios.
The AC-3200 is available in three configurations: DC Blocker, Analog Filter and Digital Filter.
DC Blocker - DC-15 first level blocking capacities: filters out DC offset from the mains and prevents transformer core saturation – a common cause of hum and power loss in toroidal transformers.
DC Blocker - DC-30 second level blocking capacities: filters out DC offset from the mains and prevents transformer core saturation – a common cause of hum and power loss in toroidal transformers.
DC Blocker - DC-45 third level blocking capacities: filters out DC offset from the mains and prevents transformer core saturation – a common cause of hum and power loss in toroidal transformers.
Analog Filter - Employs a serial inductor network (Type I) to effectively suppress power line interference in analog components such as amplifiers and phono preamps.
Digital Filter - Uses a parallel filter network (Type II) to dampen high-frequency noise without limiting the dynamic power delivery of digital components like streamers or DACs.
Engineering Substance – Made in Germany
The AC-3200 is entirely engineered in-house – from circuit design and PCB layout to mechanical construction. Manufacturing takes place at in-akustik’s own facility in Baden-Württemberg. Inside, massive 16 mm² solid copper busbars ensure low-loss power distribution. A robust brushed aluminum housing protects the electronics, while an integrated surge protector adds an extra layer of safety. Each unit undergoes individual CE-compliant testing, including high-current and insulation measurements.
